History

From a Local Initiative to a European Network

Europa Nostra Serbia was founded in response to the need to connect professional knowledge, civic engagement and European experience through joint action for heritage protection. The organisation brings together individuals and institutions working to preserve monuments, cultural landscapes, traditions and collective memory.

Through public campaigns, professional gatherings, research, education and international cooperation, the organisation promotes responsible heritage management and its active integration into contemporary social life.
